I am thrilled to introduce Bodza, the very last puppy from my sweet Virtus, whom I have been looking forward to for years.
Bodza has inherited the best genetics from both parents. Although both parents are carriers of certain traits, Bodza is clear of all genetic markers, which is very rare and exciting for our breed.
She has an exceptional temperament—she is curious, loves to work, and is always happy to participate in any activity with me.
Bodza has already had an incredible, albeit short, show career. In one weekend, she earned her National and International Junior Puppy Titles. She then went on to win Best of Opposite Sex with a four-point major at the prestigious Morris & Essex show, which only occurs every five years, even beating two Grand Champion females, one of whom was her sister, Akác.
Her working talent is just as impressive. At seven months old, she earned her AKC Junior Hunter title during a double hunt test weekend. A week later, she achieved a maximum score and a Prize I on her NAVHDA Natural Ability (NA) test.
Bodza recently joined us on our first hunt of the season, just as she turned eight months old, and ran with the older dogs like a seasoned professional. She is naturally steady to shot and backs instinctively. I know her teenage months are approaching, bringing the inevitable selective hearing, so I am focused on ensuring her natural talent continues to thrive.
I am very excited to continue enjoying this journey with her!
