Aszú joined our family in July 2024, along with Rokka. From the moment I laid eyes on him, I knew he was something special. While I typically wait a season before entering young pups in hunt tests, Aszú’s natural drive and retrieve were so exceptional that I decided to enter him early. He exceeded my expectations, earning his Junior Hunter title and NAVHDA Prize II at just six months old!
Aszú continues to amaze me with his drive and temperament. He’s passionate about birds, incredibly fast, and always eager to work. Yet, he’s also the sweetest snuggle bug imaginable. His natural retrieve is so strong that he learned to bring me his bowl after dinner by eight months old, without any hold conditioning or force fetch.
With all his health tests completed, I’m incredibly excited to see what the future holds for this remarkable dog. Aszú is now getting ready for his NAVHDA GDT and AKC Senior Hunt test this Fall. He is available for stud to approved bitches.
