Zeke, our Slovakian import, is a robust and beautifully built dog who is a sight to behold in the field. Despite being only six months old during his first hunt, he demonstrated an exceptionally high bird drive and a strong desire to hunt. He ranged out with the big dogs, pointing, backing, and retrieving naturally. Before he was even a year old, Zeke earned his Junior Hunter Title at a double hunt test and achieved a NAVHDA NA Prize I with a perfect score of 112 points. Currently, we’re preparing him for his AKC Senior Hunt Title and NAVHDA UT.
At home, Zeke believes he is the size of a chihuahua, and loves to sit on your lap with a large toy in his mouth. He’s an affectionate cuddler who always wants to be close to you, and his favorite stuffed toy is a giant unicorn that he carries everywhere. You can also often find him sleeping upside down in the middle of our bed.
Unfortunately, Zeke’s hips did not pass OFA, and we have removed him from our breeding program as a result. However, Zeke remains an exceptional hunter, even with mild hip dysplasia. He will continue to be a valuable asset to our hunting program.
