Our Boys

Zeke is our Slovakian import.  He is a very well built, robust boy, which makes him a beautiful sight on the field.   His bird drive and desire to hunt is extremely high that he showed us at a very young age only at 6 months old when we took him hunting for the first time.  He was ranging out with the big dogs, pointing, backing and retrieving. He gained his Junior Hunter Title at a double hunt test and his NAVHDA NA Prize I and with the max 112 points under a year old.  

In the house, he thinks he is a size of a chihuahua and loves to sit in your lap with a giant toy in his mouth. He is the sweetest cuddle bug and just wants to be the closest to you.  His favorite stuffed toy is a giant unicorn that he carries everywhere.  He also like to sleep in the middle of our bed upside down.

Oszkár was our pick from Akác’s first litter.  He has shown a great love for the water (like her mother) and an amazing prey drive on the field at 6 weeks old and neither has changed since.  He is almost finished with his Champion title going to 3 shows where he was picked Best Of Winners three times!  He also won and was awarded Best Puppy at the very first Wirehaired Vizsla Club of America Specialty in Lexington, KY.  

He also has 2 Junior Passes towards his Junior Hunter Title.  

We cannot wait to see his bright future on both field and show ring.

Nitró came all the way from Hungary from the Zöldmáli kennel.  He is bringing a very strong and new bloodline to our breeding program.  He started his hunting carrier at 6 months old and has shown a great drive and cooperation on the field.  He runs and watches the big dogs and putting the puzzle together.  It is great to watch him learn from the pros and from the birds.

We have high hopes for him in both the field and show ring.

Dió is our hairy, sometimes grumpy, but best dog ever! He was our first wirehaired vizsla, and he changed our lives in so many ways. At the end of our very first dove hunt he got into a wasps’ nest in Texas and they got him so bad that we almost lost him. I had to make a decision between saving his life or shaving him to be able to clean his wounds while also knowing that I will ruin his coat forever. It wasn’t a hard decision to make!  

He is a truly versatile dog; we hunt with him upland, duck and dove. He is very smart and independent on the field and a real snuggle bug inside.  

When our son was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2017, our lives changed. He was only having seizures at night, which made sleeping very difficult for me. I trained Dió to turn my son’s head when he was having a seizure so he wouldn’t choke on his own saliva. He is his certified service dog! And even though (knock on wood) our son hasn’t had a seizure for over 2 years now, Dió still sleeps with him and keeps him safe.

Ropi joined our family 2 years after Dió in 2018. His genetics decided to keep his wires inside so he looks like a beautiful smoothie. He is the goofiest and sweetest giant chihuahua you have ever met. He thinks he is a tiny lapdog and will curl up in your lap, not realizing he is squishing you.

He got his NAVHDA NA Prize III title when he was just under a year old. He gained his AKC Junior Hunter title by 18 months and became an AKC Senior Hunter at 4 years old. 

He is the most stunning hunting machine you will ever see, with an amazing nose, an incredible prey drive and the strongest desire to please.
